From March to May 2022, the main study of DIDUNAS was conducted in Germany. The researchers visited three primary schools in Cologne (Gemeinschaftsgrundschule Weimarer Straße, Katholische Grundschule Zugweg, and Heliosschule) and collected data from 106 first-grade students. The students worked, among others, individually on the DIDUNAS app using tablet computers and on the DIDUNAS Eye-Tracking Tool.
The analyses of eye-tracking data will help to understand the children’s strategies and explain different response times of the students in the DIDUNAS app. The results of this study will be used for further and final development of the DIDUNAS app.
